Release Subconscious Emotions

It's ok. You're human. There will be days, or even months when you may find yourself... angry... worried... afraid... heartbroken... depressed... anxious... and stuck so deep you can't lift your head.

It's at times like this when well-meaning, but trite sounding bits of advice can be super frustrating. "Think positive thoughts. Practice Gratitude. Let it go." Sighhh.

I imagine you've tried to do these things. And positivity can work... sometimes. More often, mind power, alone doesn't work or has temporary leverage. Here's why.

The cliche' advice fails to acknowledge that you're feeling your feelings in your body. These suggestions ask you to focus, concentrate and rely on sheer willpower. The thing is when you're feeling overwhelmed, and stressed, the parts of your brain that help with logic, reasoning, and focus are severely compromised by stress hormones and reduced blood flow. The stress reflex is real and working in your body automatically.

Doesn't it make sense, that if you feel your feelings in your body, that body-based healing techniques can help release and heal your emotions? 

  • You feel the lump in your throat when you can't form the words to speak your truth.
  • You feel grief as a weight pulling you downward.
  • Your stomach tells you when you feel disgusted.
  • You feel shaken up when you've been badly frightened.​

What will your sessions with me be like?

You'll have the choice of sitting in a chair or laying down on a soft treatment table while I gently muscle test and tune into your body to address the issues you've identified. You will remain fully clothed during your session.

In your healing sessions, I will intuitively pull from my professional experience to best meet your unique needs. I may use one or more of the many modalities that are known to help you release stressful feelings.

What will you feel?

You may notice sensations such as warmth, shivers and chills, pulsing, a deepening of your breath, peaceful relaxation, and quieting of your mind. Emotions may arise and will subside. You'll be in a safe space to explore your feelings.

What I hear most often from my clients is that they feel lighter and lighter after each session and continue to feel lighter and lighter as they continue.
